Avaada Group has announced the successful financial closure of its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, marking a significant milestone in the company's renewable energy expansion strategy.
In addition, the company has secured debt financing for two 300 MW solar power projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat. With these developments, Avaada Group's total debt sanctions across three major utility-scale renewable energy projects have reached nearly $950 million.
The Bikaner FDRE project is being developed under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited. Designed to combine renewable power generation with firm and dispatchable energy supply, the project aims to enhance grid reliability, support round-the-clock clean energy availability, and contribute to India's transition toward a more resilient and sustainable power system.
